DO & Temps improving

Measurements from the lake today at 8.30am show the water temperature starting to come down at 17.1 C, still high but better than it has been and better than this time last year when it was 19.4 C.

The dissolved oxygen levels have also improved at 12 mg/l.

Most of the trout activity today seems to be at the West end and of the lake (where the springs are), plenty jumping presumably to clear silt out of their gills.
