Temps down & Fish in

Water temperatures on Monday were down to a more welcome 14 C. We restocked on Friday, although those of us that haven’t been catching, “there’s no fish in the lake”, perhaps should have a word with Henry Payne who had two fish out on the previous Wednesday, including one cracking fish of 5lb 4 ozs.

The measurements this morning are very encouraging dissolved oxygen is excellent at 10.7 mg/l and water temperature is 14.3 C. We have had another tree come down between the two gates, however I’m happy to leave it as it is laying parallel to the bank and will create some interesting shelter/habitat.
